Regime forces renew shelling positions in Idlib and Aleppo as ceasefire enters its 33rd day

SOHR activists say that regime forces fired several rockets in the early hours of Tuesday morning, targeting places in the towns and villages of Sfuhen, Al-Ftera, Al-Rwayha and Kafr Oweid in the southern countryside of Idlib, Taqad and Kafamma in the southern countryside of Aleppo. This shelling on the 33rd consecutive day of the new ceasefire in the “de-escalation zone” coincides with the flight of Russian reconnaissance drones over the area.

SOHR sources reported yesterday evening that regime forces stationed in rural Idlib fired several artillery shells, targeting Sfuhen and Al-Ftera villages in rural Idlib, along with extensive overflights of reconnaissance aircraft over the area.

Otherwise, tense calm continued in “Putin-Erdogan” area on the 32nd consecutive day of the new ceasefire.
