ISIS cells kill a woman in Al-Zar village for “communicating with regime forces”

Reliable sources have informed SOHR that four unknown gunmen, believed to be of ISIS cells, stormed the house of a woman in Al-Zar village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. The gunmen shackled the woman’s husband and shot her dead, then they escaped.

According to SOHR sources, the woman was killed for “communicating with regime forces”.

In February 25, SOHR sources reported that SDF arrested more than 30 civilians in al-Zar village ‎in Deir Ezzor countryside, among them there were five young people and an elderly man from al-Zar village, while the rest were displaced people from surrounding areas. Meanwhile, a woman sustained serious injury after being hit with indescriminate gunshot‎ during the raids.
