As part of facilitating stealing in “Peace Spring” area, Turkish forces seize an agricultural land and open a commercial crossing

Sources of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the Turkish forces have seized about 15,000 m² of agricultural land owned by Ara area of Ras al-Ayn, to establish a commercial crossing that connects it to the Turkish area, Ceylanpinar.

The area has been witnessing smuggling operations to Turkey involving agricultural yields and theft by the Turkish-backed factions from the “Peace Spring” areas.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the demolition of houses by Turkish forces vehicles and excavators in Shrekrak village north al-Raqqah, where about 20 houses have been demolished until Sunday, the 5th of April 2020, and demolitions process is still underway.

The people of Shrekrak reject the Turkish presence in their areas, leaving the fate of its people to be the homelessness in the nearby camps.
