SDF captures four fighters of “National Army” factions following infiltration attempt in rural Tal Tamer

Reliable sources have told the Syrian Observatory that the shelling carried out by Turkish forces and proxy factions on rural Tal Tamer town after midnight and dawn today, was in retaliation for SDF’s infiltration attempt into the area between Um al-Kef and Al-Dardara in Tal Tamer town, during which SDF managed to capture four members of “National Army” factions.

Observatory sources reported earlier this morning that Turkish forces and Turkish-backed factions of the “National Army” carried out rocket attacks, targeting places in the regime and SDF-held village of Manakh in Tal Tamr countryside. The shelling left material damage to civilian properties. No casualties were reported.

It is noteworthy that most of the targeted villages’ people had been forced to flee their homes due to earlier shelling.

On April 2, SOHR sources reported that regime captain and soldier were killed while seven others sustained various injuries in rocket attacks carried out by Turkish forces in the early hours of Thursday morning. The Turkish rockets hit regime checkpoint in Al-Abboush village north-west of Tal Tamr town in northern countryside of Al-Hasakah.

SOHR sources reported earlier this morning that Turkish forces and their proxies fired several rockets, targeting Um Al-Kief village in Tal Tamr countryside held by regime and Syria Democratic Forces. The shelling caused material damage but no casualties were reported.
