Regime security services arrest woman in Harasta for unknown reasons

Rif Dimashq Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: reliable sources have informed the Syrian Observatory that a military checkpoint at the outskirts of Harasta city in eastern Ghouta arrested a civilian woman from the city, while she was coming from Damascus to Harasta city.

The arrested woman was taken to the “235th Branch” (Felastin Branch) in Damascus without details on the reasons behind arresting her.

On March 16, observatory sources regime forces arrested ten persons in Al-Mayda’ani village of Al-Marj area in eastern Ghouta, Damascus. Reasons behind these arrests have yet to be known.

According to SOHR sources, these arrests came after setting up a makeshift checkpoint by the regime’s “Air-Force Intelligence” at Al-Mayda’ani’s entrance where passers-by were subjected to unprecedented security procedures.
