New column of the Turkish forces enters “Putin – Erdogan” area, rising the number of vehicles that has entered since the new ceasefire to 2,430
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored today the entry of a new Turkish column from Kafrsolin crossing north of Idlib.
The column consists of 20 vehicles containing logistics and engineering equipment, concrete blocks, prefabricated guarding booth, and military vehicles.
The column headed towards “Putin – Erdogan” area.
Hours earlier, the Syrian Observatory had monitored the entry of 15 vehicles of the Turkish forces from Kafrluseen crossing and headed towards Idlib countryside.
The number of military vehicles entered Syrian territory since the start of the new ceasefire has reached 2,430 in addition to thousands of Turkish soldiers.
From February 2 to date, the number of trucks and military vehicles that arrived in “de-escalation zone” rose to more than 5,835 Turkish trucks and military vehicles arrived in Syrian territory, carrying tanks, personnel carriers, armored vehicles, and mobile bulletproof guard booths and military radars. While some 10,300 Turkish soldiers deployed in Idlib and Aleppo during this period.
