Turkish forces renew ground shelling targeting Kurdish-held areas in northern Aleppo

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Turkish forces continue their rocket attacks on regime and Kurdish-held areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo. SOHR activists have reported that Turkish rocket fire hit places in Harbal and Sheikh Issa in northern Aleppo in the early hours of Saturday morning. No casualties have been reported.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces and their proxies shelled several areas held by Kurdish and regime forces in northern and north-western countryside of Aleppo with tens of rockets. Scope of the Turkish shelling expanded to cover Tal Rifaat, Sheikh Helal, Kashtar camp, Kafr Antwan, Al-Irshadiyah, Maraanaz and Al-Malikiyah.

Meanwhile, the villages of Oqaybah, Sawghankah, Ziyyarah, Deir Jamal, Bienah and other areas in Shirawa township in north-western Aleppo came under intensive artillery shelling by Turkish forces. The shelling injured a civilian in Oqaybah village, while a regime soldier was killed and other soldiers sustained various injuries.
