Ceasefire violations: Regime rocket fire hits positions in Latakia and Idlib countryside

SOHR activists have confirmed that regime forces fired several rockets this morning, targeting Al-Haddadah area in Latakia mountains, and Al-Bara town in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib. No casualties have been reported.

Syrian Observatory activists reported earlier this morning that regime forces fired several rockets in the early hours of Saturday morning, targeting areas in Sfuhen and Fatera in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib. No casualties were reported.

This regime rocket fire coincided with flight of Russian reconnaissance drones over Idlib as the new ceasefire in the “de-escalation zone” entered its 37th consecutive day, amid full suspension of aerial bombardment.

Yesterday, Observatory sources monitored artillery shelling by regime forces stationed in rural Idlib, targeted Sfuhen town in Jabal al-Zawiya. Meanwhile, a warplane flew at noon over west Idlib countryside and Sahl Al-Ghab.
