Russian forces bring in new military reinforcement to Al-Qamishli and deploy in Abu Rasin and Tal Tamr

Reliable sources have informed the Syrian Observatory that the Russian forces are setting up new military bases in Abu Rasin town (Zarkan) and the vicinity of Tal Tamr town in the northern and north-eastern countryside of Al-Hasakah.

According to SOHR sources, Russian forces installed Russian flags on four posts of regime forces in Um Al-Keif and Abboush villages in the countryside of Tal Tamr town, and two other posts in Abu Rasin town.

Russian forces also brought in new reinforcement of equipment and personnel to these posts. Meanwhile, Russian military reinforcement, including tens of members of the Russian military police, armoured vehicles and logistical supplies, has arrived in Al-Qamishli airbase.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that Russian and Turkish forces were preparing to set up a joint military post in the area of the agricultural airport near Um Ushbeh village at the crossroads of Darbasiya – Ras Al Ain – Abu Rasin in the northern countryside of Al-Hasakeh.

SOHR sources confirmed that preparations were proceeding in secret amid intensive Russian military movement.
