Iranian-backed militias expel regime forces from a town in rural Aleppo and prevent civilians from entering it

SOHR sources say that Iranian-backed militiamen expelled regime forces from the town of Zatian in southern rural Aleppo, and set up checkpoints at the entrances to the town to prevent civilians from entering it.

Areas controlled by regime forces and Iranian-backed militias in Idlib and Aleppo provinces are undergoing chaos, insecurity, looting and retaliation against opponents of Syrian regime by vandalizing their property.

The Syrian Observatory has monitored vehicles filled with civilians’ stolen property and furniture after being looted. The Syrian Observatory has obtained a video footage showing regime soldiers during looting operations.
