Security chaos in areas held by SDF: IED explosion targets military vehicle in eastern rural Deir ez-Zor 

Deir ez-Zor province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory has monitored this evening an explosion, caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) targeting a vehicle of the Syrian Democratic Forces near the bridge of Al-Busayrah city in eastern rural Deir ez-Zor. No casualties have been reported.

Reliable sources reported earlier that two gunmen riding a motorcycle assassinated a former Islamic State security officer of those who later joined SDF intelligence, by shooting him in the town of Al-Shuhayl in eastern countryside of Deir al-Zour.

On the other hand, two unidentified men riding a motorcycle targeted Syrian Democratic Forces checkpoint with machine guns in the village of Al-Hawaij east of Deir ez-Zor. No casualties were reported.
