Tahrir al-Sham establishes three new brigades in Idlib province

The military wing of “Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham” has established three new military brigades in Idlib Province.

According to a statement issued by “Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham” on Tuesday, the 14th of April 2020: “The military wing ordered the creation of Talha bin Obaidullah Brigade led by Abu Hafs Binnish.

“Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham” had ordered the establishment of the Ali bin Abi Talib Brigade led by Abu Bakr Mahin, and the Zubair Bin al-Awam Brigade led by Abu Muhammad Shura.

Tahrir al-Sham did not explain the number of fighters in each brigade or the reasons behind establishing them, and usually it uses nicknames for its leaders rather than the real names.

This comes against the backdrop of the rapid developments that “Jabal al-Turkman” has been witnessing, where it has set up training camps for its members in the past month.

last week, Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham saw the resignation of a member of the Shura Council before retreating from it days later, and the leader who resigned at the time said that the reason for the resignation at the time was the fact that did not know and was not aware of some of the policies of the group or the fact that he was not convinced of them, and “this is natural as the human is born with the love to know more”, also he described.
