WHO sends medical aid to northern and eastern Syria as part of the emergency health response to tackle coronavirus
SOHR sources say that a plane carrying medical equipment provided by the World Health Organization (WHO) arrived in regime-controlled areas in Al-Qamishli to ensure the delivery of health care services in the area.
The World Health Organization has provided 20 tons of medical shipments to Al-Qamishli as part of the response to tackle the spread of Coronavirus in northern and eastern Syria. The shipment contains more than 8,000 pieces of medical supplies such as infant incubators, ventilators and other personal protection equipment.
On April 10, the Syrian Observatory monitored widespread public discontent in the city of Al-Hasaka, due to the arrival of an ex-soldier of regime forces in his area of the city from regime-controlled areas without being quarantined for 14 days.
