ISIS resurgence: members confiscate tobacco and burn it in Ghariba Al-Sharqiya village
SOHR sources say that a group of Islamic State members on motorcycles roamed the village of Ghariba al-Sharqiya in Deir ez-Zor countryside this afternoon, confiscating large quantities of tobacco and burning it before leaving the village to north-eastern desert of Deir ez-Zor.
On April 14, SOHR sources say that SDF’s public security forces arrested ten people in the town of Al-Baguz for “dealing” with sleeper cells of the Islamic State, including an emir in Al-Baguz town in eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zour. Explosive rounds used for assassinations were found in arrested people’s possession.
