Four assassination attempts in a single day, targeting regime forces and “collaborators” with security services and Lebanese Hezbollah in southern Syria

Daraa Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory has monitored today a new assassination attempt in rural Daraa. Unidentified gunmen opened fire on a volunteer in the 4th Division of regime forces, in the town of Al-Yadouda, killing him instantly.

The Syrian Observatory has documented this evening the assassination of a regime soldier in the town of Nasiriyah in Al-Quneitra countryside, by unknown gunmen.

Unidentified gunmen assassinated a cooperator with regime security services who was recruited young men for The Lebanese Hezbollah in the town of Tsel in Daraa countryside.

SOHR sources have reported that unidentified gunmen assassinated today a person cooperating with regime security services and recruiting young men for Lebanese Hezbollah, in the town of Tsiel in Daraa countryside.

Moreover, unidentified gunmen assassinated a member of regime airforce intelligence by shooting him on Ain Thakar-Nafia road in western rural Daraa.

This brings the number of attacks and assassination attempts in various forms and methods by detonating IEDs, mines, booby-trapped vehicles and shootings from past June to date, to more than 402 attacks.

While the number of those who killed and died in the same period has risen to 237 persons, 50 of whom are civilians, including five women and four children, in addition to 126 regime soldiers, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services.

42 members of opposition factions were also killed, those who made “settlements and reconciliations” with the regime and became members of regime security services, including former leaders, and 17 members of Syrian militias affiliated to Lebanese “Hezbollah” and Iranian forces, in addition to six members of so-called “Fifth Corps” established by Russia.
