Two persons killed and one injured as unidentified gunmen and regime forces exchange fire in Daraa governorate

Daraa governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that a regime soldier was injured today in the city of Nawa in rural Daraa, after being targeted by unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle.

In the meantime, regime’s settled-status members opened fire on two unidentified young men near the outpost in Nawa city, killing them instantly. Settled-status members took their bodies and imposed a security cordon at the scene.

This brings the number of attacks and assassination attempts in various forms and methods by detonating IEDs, mines, booby-trapped vehicles and shootings from past June to date, to more than 405 attacks.

While the number of those who killed and died in the same period has risen to 246 persons, 50 of whom are civilians, including five women and four children, in addition to 129 regime soldiers, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services.

44 members of opposition factions were also killed, those who made “settlements and reconciliations” with the regime and became members of regime security services, including former leaders, and 17 members of Syrian militias affiliated to Lebanese “Hezbollah” and Iranian forces, in addition to six members of so-called “Fifth Corps” established by Russia.
