SOHR appeals to relevant bodies to help little girl with blood disorder from Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) to be transported to regime hospitals

A little girl from Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) suffers from a blood disorder which doctors in eastern Euphrates region are not able to diagnose because of the lack of developed laboratories there.

Doctors supervising the girl’s treatment confirmed that she needs to be transported to regime-controlled areas in Damascus or Aleppo, so that she will receive proper treatment.

The girl is staying with her family in Manbij and her health situation is deteriorating but the spread of coronavirus led to the closure of crossings for civilians between the areas controlled by the Autonomous Administration and regime-held areas.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights appeals to the international community and all relevant bodies to exert pressure on the controlling powers to hospitalize the girl and safe her life, especially since smuggling operations continue via commercial crossings between regime-held areas and areas under control of “Manbij Military Council”.
