Unknown person found dead in Turkish-controlled areas west of Ras Al-Ain (Sere Kaniye)

Al-Hasakah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Syrian Observatory activists have reported that an identified person was found dead in the Turkish-controlled village of Al-Adawaniyah west of Ras Al-Ain (Sere Kaniye).

A few day ago, SOHR sources reported hearing simultaneous explosions in Al-Ahras and Al-Amiryah villages in rural Ras Al-Ain (Sere Kaniye). According to SOHR sources, the explosions were caused by detonating landmines in both villages, which killed and injured several militiamen of the Turkish-backed factions which are in control of these villages. After the explosions, the factions detonated other landmines, planted earlier in Al-Ahras and Al-Amiryah.

SOHR sources monitored on Monday evening violent clashes with machineguns and RPG in the neighbourhoods of Ras al-Ain city “Sari Kani”, between “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” and Turkish-backed “Al-Mutassim Brigade”. Clashes took place in the neighbourhood of Al-Mahata, Al-Abra, Church Street, the border crossing and Khazan Al-Miyah in the neighborhood of Kharabat.
