Ceasefire violations: regime rocket fire pounds positions in Jabal Al-Zawiyah
Syrian Observatory sources say that regime forces renewed rocket attacks targeting places in Kansafra and Al-Fterah in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib.
SOHR sources reported earlier this morning that regime forces fired several rockets in the early hours of Sunday morning, targeting positions nearby Hazarin, Sfuhen, Al-Bara, Banin and Al-Fterah in the southern countryside of Idlib. Regime forces also targeted places in Kafr Ammah, Kafr Taal and the vicinity of the 46th Regiment in the southern countryside of Aleppo with heavy machineguns. No casualties have reported.
These violations comes on the 52nd consecutive day of the new ceasefire in the “de-escalation zone”.
Yesterday, SOHR monitored rocket attacks by regime forces on places in Kansafra, Al-Bara, Banin and Kafr Oweid in the southern countryside of Idlib, and Al-Ankawi in Sahl Al-Ghab, north-west of Hama. Regime forces also targeted places in Al-Nayrab in the eastern countryside of Idlib with heavy machineguns.
