SDF member survives assassination attempt in a market in rural Deir ez-Zor

Deir ez-Zor province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored an assassination attempt targeting a member of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in rural Deir ez-Zor. A masked man on a motorcycle pulled out his gun trying to shoot SDF member in the market of Al-Shuhail town in rural Deir ez-Zor, while the member managed to escape as the masked man’s gun was jammed. The other assailant chased the member and shot but he missed him.

On April 26, SOHR activists reported that a booby-trapped motorcycle exploded on the highway in the village of Al-Azzia, north of Deir ez-Zour. The motorcycle was parked by two unidentified men in order to target SDF vehicles, while the attack failed as it exploded shortly before their arrival. No casualties were reported.
