IED explosion rocks Afrin. No casualties reported

Syrian Observatory activists have reported hearing a new explosion in the Turkish-controlled city of Afrin in the north-western countryside of Aleppo. The explosion was caused by detonating an IED on the road to Trandah which caused material damage, but no casualties have been reported yet.

 Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that unidentified gunmen opened fire on a patrol of Turkish-backed civilian police near the agricultural bank in Jarabulus city in north-eastern Aleppo. The attack left three police officers injured, while the gunmen managed to escape.

SOHR sources also reported that a group of the Turkish-backed “Ahrar Al-Sham” shot two young men displaced from eastern Ghouta to Afrin. The two young men sustained serious injuries.
