Afrin carnage: nearly 30 people killed or wounded as IED blows up fuel truck

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Syrian Observatory activists have documented the killing of at least five persons due to the explosion of an IED in a fuel truck, on the road to Raju township in Afrin city in north-western Aleppo. The violent explosion also injured 24 persons at least, some of whom sustained serious injuries which may raises the number of fatalities.

Earlier this morning, Observatory activists reported hearing a new explosion in the Turkish-controlled city of Afrin in the north-western countryside of Aleppo. The explosion was caused by detonating an IED on the road to Trandah which caused material damage, but no casualties were reported.
