SDF launch new security campaign in eastern Deir Ezzor, arresting ex-soldier of regime forces

Deir Ezzor Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: International Coalition-backed Syria Democratic Forces unleashed new campaign of raids and arrests in Jadeed Ekaydat town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. The raiding forces arrested a mine expert who discharged recently from regime military service. It is noteworthy that the residents ask for the help of the arrested soldier to dismantle mines planted in the area.

On Monday, SDF arrested a member of regime-backed forces of “Kata’eb Al-Baath” in Jadeed Bakkara village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

Meanwhile, SOHR sources reported on April 18 that a military group of Syria Democratic Forces, backed by International Coalition’s aircraft, raided a refugee camp on the outskirts of Al-Sabha village in the eastern Deir Ezzor in the early hours of Saturday morning. The raiding forces arrested several young people for unknown reasons.
