ISIS attacks SDF checkpoint east of Deir Ezzor, leaving casualties

Dier Ezzor Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: ISIS armed members attacked a checkpoint affiliated to Syria Democratic Forces in Daman village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. According SOHR sources, the attack left an Iraqi ISIS member, of the attackers, while five SDF members sustained injuries.

 

Yesterday, Syrian Observatory sources monitored an attack by four members of ISIS cell on an SDF military vehicle near the gas plant in Jadidat Akidat town in eastern countryside of Deir ezzor. The attack left three SDF fighters injured.

 

The attackers took advantage of the maintenance work by municipality, hiding behind soil piles. A military vehicle belonging to SDF chased them on the road to al-Izba near Koniko gas field, opening fire on their car in which they injured two ISIS members and capture two others. Meanwhile, the International Coalition forces have fired light bombs at the conflict zone near Koniko field.
