Clashes erupt in al-Bab city over “trucks smuggling” dispute, with flight of Turkish f-16 jet over the area

The Syrian Observatory has monitored this evening clashes with machine guns between members of “Al-Hamza Division” and “Ahrar al-Sham”, near the crossings used for smuggling, east of the city of Al-Bab. Clashes erupted following a dispute between them over smuggling of trucks to regime-controlled areas, accompanied with the flight of a Turkish f-16 jet over the region.

SOHR sources just reported that a Turkish-backed military police member was killed and three others were injured as a result of renewed clashes in the city of Jarabulus, northeast of Aleppo, between an armed group from Deir ez-Zor belonging to “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” faction and military police members.

Meanwhile, tense calm returned to the area following mediation from the Turkish-backed factions.
