ISIS riot | SDF and International Coalition bring the prison crises to an end by negotiations

SOHR activists say that the special forces and anti-terrorist forces of SDF intervened to stop a riot by ISIS members inside Al-Sina’a prison in Guiran neighbourhood in Al-Hasakeh.

Hours after it started, the riot was ended by holding joint negotiations between SDF representatives and Coalition forces on the one hand and ISIS prisoners on the other.

The group’s prisoners had ripped off the doors of dormitories and corridors before the SDF regained control of the prison.

Syrian Observatory sources monitored earlier new riot by ISIS prisoners inside Al-Sina’a prison in Ghuwayran neighbourhood in Al-Hasakah city. The new riot coincided with high alertness and widespread deployment by Syria Democratic Forces in the perimeter of the prison, along with Coalition’s aircraft flying over the area.

This riot comes nearly 35 days after the latest one in the same prison

On March 30, SOHR reported that a group of the International Coalition and SDF special forces stormed the last enclaves of the riot of ISIS prisoners inside Ghuwayran prison in Al-Hasakeh city. The riot was fully aborted.
