Regime forces shell rural Idlib as tense calm continues in “Putin-Erdogan” area

The Syrian Observatory has monitored this evening artillery shelling by regime forces stationed in rural Idlib, targeting the perimeter of Kansafra town and the villages of Sofohin and Al-Fatira in rural Idlib. No casualties have been reported.

Apart from that, tense calm continues in the “Putin-Erdogan” area on the 59th consecutive day of the new ceasefire.

Syrian Observatory activists monitored this afternoon Russian reconnaissance drones flying over western countryside of Hama and southern countryside of Idlib, along with regime rocket attacks targeting places in Kafr Oweid in southern Idlib and Al-Ankawi in Sahl Al-Ghab.

Regime forces renewed rocket attacks in the early hours of Sunday morning, targeting places in Kansafra, Sfuhen, Al-Ftera and Fulayfel in the southern countryside of Idlib. Meanwhile, opposition factions destroyed a vehicle of regime forces on Al-Fatera frontline in Jabal Al-Zawiyah after targeting it with a guided missile.
