Meanwhile, most of the roads has been blocked causing traffic jam at the crossings with other areas, amid panic and fear prevailing among the residents of the spread of coronavirus in the canton.

On April 13, reliable sources informed SOHR that an officer of Turkish-backed police in Tal Abyad was infected with Coronavirus, while all his colleagues in the same department were quarantined.

The local council in Tal Abyad set up an emergency center at two schools in the city to quarantine the suspected cases.

SOHR sources confirmed that several people had been suspected of infected with coronavirus, including Turkish-backed rebels as well as two young men from Suluk town. They were all quarantined.

These development came after the dispensaries of Ras al-Ain and Tal Abyad were transformed into quarantine centers for the infected people coming from Turkey.
