Azaz | Group of fighters in Turkish-backed factions arrested for not stopping at security checkpoint 

SOHR activists say that members of a joint security checkpoint in the city of Azaz opened fire on a military vehicle belonging to a Turkish-backed faction, today just before Iftar time, for trying to cross the checkpoint which belongs to military police and the “National Army”.

The violators were arrested and taken to the military police branch.

On May 2, Members of the Turkish-backed “Ahrar Al-Sharqiyyah” brutally beaten a civilian in Turaybikh village in northern countryside of Ain Issa for “smoking cigarettes during the daytime of Ramadan”.

On April 30, SOHR sources said that “Ahrar Al-Sharqiya” members assaulted a man with special needs in Jendires market in rural Afrin, for “eating in public” and not “observing Ramadan”. The man was brutally beaten by the faction’s members, in which he sustained bruises.
