Landmine explodes killing rebel fighter in western Aleppo

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR activists have documented the death of a fighter in opposition factions due to a landmine explosion in Kafr Nouran area in the western countryside of Aleppo. It is worth noting that the fighter is from Atareb city in the same countryside.

 

Earlier this morning, Observatory sources reported hearing an explosion in the Turkish-controlled township of Sharran in Afrin countryside in north-western Aleppo. The explosion was caused by detonating an IED in a military vehicle affiliated to a faction of the “National Army” which caused material damage. No casualties were reported.
