Joint patrols in NE Syria | Turkish and Russian forces tour villages in rural Ain Al-Arab (Kobani)

Syrian Observatory sources have reported that Turkish and Russian forces ran a new joint patrol in the countryside of Ain Al-Arab city (Kobani). The patrol toured villages in the western countryside.

 

On March 4, SOHR sources reported that Russian and Turkish forces conducted a new joint patrol in Ma’bada town in northern Al-Hasakah. Six Russian vehicles and four other Turkish ones set off from Dayrounah Aghi village and toured several village in Ma’bada countryside.

 

SOHR sources reported A few days earlier that Russian and Turkish forces conducted a new joint patrol in the western countryside of Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) in April. Russian and Turkish armored vehicles set off from Ashma village and toured several villages and towns in western Kobani. The patrol was escorted with two Russian helicopters flying at a low altitude.
