Security chaos in Idlib | Unknown assailants attack “Al-Sham Corps” headquarters
Syrian Observatory activists have monitored new attack by unknown gunmen on the headquarters of Al-Sham Corps, which is close to Turkey, in the east of Binnish city in rural Idlib. Clashes erupted in the early hours of Sunday morning between the attackers and Al-Sham Corps’ members stationed in the head quarters, before the attackers escaped. No casualties have been reported yet.
It is worth noting that security disorder is escalating recently in areas under the control of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and opposition factions in Idlib province and surrounding countryside.
On Friday, SOHR sources reported that clashes erupted between members of “Al-Sham Corps” and unknown gunmen following an armed attack on the corps’ headquarters in Al-Sawwaghiyah area on the outskirts of Kafriya and Al-Fu’ah in rural Idlib. No casualties were reported.
