Feuding factions | Fierce clashes erupt between “Al-Hamzat Division” and “Sultan Suleiman Shah” factions in Ras al-Ain, north of Al-Hasakeh

The Syrian Observatory has monitored an armed fight between “Al-Hamzat Division” faction and “Sultan Suleiman Shah” faction in the city of Ras al-Ain, north of Hasaka, without knowing the reasons.

Yesterday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored an armed fight between “Al-Hamzaat” factions and “Al-Sultan Murad” Division in the area between the villages of Al-Dadoya and Al-Arisha in rural Ras al-Ain, north of Al-Hasakeh province.

On May 6, the Syrian Observatory monitored a tension and anger between the residents of Ras al-Ain on the one hand, and Turkish-backed factions and police on the other.

The residents demanded the demilitarization of their city, and that military presence be relocated to countryside, while the city is witnessing a widespread discontent due to the practices of these factions in the areas of “Peace Spring”.

This development comes days after an armed fighting erupted among Turkish-backed factions.
