Libya: LNA announces killing of a major Syrian officer

The forces of Libyan general Khalifa Haftar have announced the killing of Muhammad Hindawi, the commander of the second body of Syrian fighters that Turkey has sent to Libya to fight alongside the forces of the Government of Libyan national agreement (Gna). According to what is read on the Facebook page of the Haftar forces, “the units of the armed forces have been performing an operation from early morning on Sunday 17 Ramadan, on the axis of Ain Zara, which targeted the commander of the second body called Muhammad Hindawi, one of the mercenaries of the Turkish invasion. ” Photos of his body and identity card have been published. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (Sohr), a London-based non-governmental organization, announced last Saturday that the number of deaths among Syrians in Libya has risen to 268. The observatory said that the deaths were from factions. of the Al-Mu’tasim Brigade, the Sultan Murad Brigade, the Falcons of the North Brigade, Al-Hamzat and Suleiman Shah, and were killed on the fronts of Salahuddin, Ramleh and Hadaba.
