Idlib’s turmoil | Explosion rocks Ariha, while Turkish and Russian force patrolling M4

Syrian Observatory sources have reported that Russian and Turkish forces conducted a new joint patrol on Aleppo-Latakia international highway (M4). The patrol set off this morning from Tarnabeh town to Ariha city in southern Idlib. This is the third Russian-Turkish joint patrol to tour such long distance since the recent ceasefire came into effect.

 

Meanwhile, SOHR activists have reported hearing an explosion in Ariha area, while the patrol was touring M4. SOHR activists have also monitored many people oppose the Russian-Turkish agreement gathering in the area.

 

This patrol is the tenth joint patrol to be conducted between Russian and Turkish forces on the M4 highway.

 

On May 7, Russian and Turkish forces conducted a new joint patrol on Latakia-Aleppo international highway (M4). The patrol set off from Tarnabeh village to the outskirts of Ariha city.
