Continuous reinforcement, expansion of bases, and daily patrols | U.S. strengthens presence in east Euphrates

U.S. forces are exerting hard efforts to re-entrench themselves and impose their influence over the east Euphrates region completely through. Military and logistical reinforcement are arriving in U.S. bases in the region periodically, at a time when these bases are being expanded and boosted.

 

In this context, U.S. forces continue expanding the base of Al-Omar oil field in eastern Deir Ezzor and boost other bases there.

 

U.S. forces also seek to reposture through holding meetings and paying visits to their former bases, in addition to conducting daily patrols in several areas, especially on Al-Hasakah-Aleppo international highway.

 

A few days ago, SOHR sources reported that U.S. forces set up new military base in Al-Jazarat area in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, after bringing in large military reinforcement. In the past few days, more than 300 trucks entered Syria and to Al-Omar oil field in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, while large group of these trucks headed later to Al-Jazarat.

 

On the other hand, U.S. forces are expanding their military base in Al-Omar oil field following the arrival of tens of trucks in the past few days, carrying ammunition, weapons, military and logistical supplies. U.S. soldiers and other forces operating under the banner of the International Coalition have also arrived recently in the base.
