Unknown assailants burn down oil truck affiliated to “Al-Qaterji Group” on Deir Ezzor-Damascus highway

Reliable sources have informed the Syrian Observatory that unknown assailants have burned down an oil truck affiliated to the company of “Al-Qaterji”, a prominent businessman loyal to the Syrian regime. The gunmen seized the truck yesterday in Al-Shawlah area on Deir Ezzor-Damascus highway.

On April 21, SOHR sources monitored 60 oil tankers near Manbij city transporting crude oil from SDF-held areas to regime-controlled areas. The trucks were covered with thick camouflage fabric to hide from the U.S. reconnaissance drones.

Observatory sources confirmed that the trucks have been transporting crude oil from Rumaylan, Shaddadi, and al-Omari oil fields.

The trucks have been owned by “Al-Qaterji” company which belongs to one of the most prominent “businessmen” loyal to the Syrian regime.
