Video | Footage shows person distributing cash aid to children, urging them to wear burqa

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has obtained today a video showing a person distributing cash aid of 2,000 lira to a group of little girls wearing a burqa, urging them to wear it.

According to the video footage, the person gave 1,000 Syrian pounds to a 5-year-old girl who was not wearing a burqa, and promised to give her a double if she wears it.

According to Observatory sources, the person who appeared in the video  has been working for Tahrir Al-Sham and has been active for years in relief and distributing aid in kind to those in need in camps and places where  displaced persons are.

The “childcare” projects, are dominated by a group of people and organizations that are full of corruption and patronage, while the goals of these projects have nothing to do with childcare.

Reliable SOHR sources reported earlier that tens of cases of food poisoning in a refugee camp in northern Idlib arrived at hospitals and medical centers in the past few hours.

Over 65 displaced people mostly children and women in “Re’ayat Al-Tufolah” refugee camp were hospitalized, since they suffered from food poisoning after having Iftar meals distributed by a charity

SOHR sources say that the food was prepared in early morning, put in plastic plates and distributed later to the displaced people in the camp.
