Al-Qamishli | Regime loyalists and National Defense block US military column, forcing it to retreat

SOHR activists say that loyalists of the Syrian regime have intercepted an American patrol, while roaming Al-Qamishli countryside.

According to Observatory sources, a group of regime’s loyal farmers and National Defense Forces have blocked American vehicles carrying their agricultural equipment in the village of Al-Qahira in western countryside of Tal Tamer, forcing them to return.

On April 30, reliable sources reported that the residents of Salihiyat Harb and Mushayrafa villages have intercepted a U.S. military convoy coming from Tal Barrak town and escorted with a jet flying over the area.

Residents and members of the “National Defense Forces” (NDF) crowded at a regime checkpoint in Salihiyat Harb village, preventing the convoy from crossing through their villages on the international highway in the southern countryside of Al-Qamishli.
