New assassination | Two unidentified gunmen assassinate former opposition fighter in Daraa countryside

Daraa governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that two unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle assassinated today a civilian from Idlib countryside, near the area of the bridge of Daraa Al-Sharqi Dam. The victim is a former opposition fighter.

This brings the number of attacks and assassination attempts in various forms and methods by detonating IEDs, mines, booby-trapped vehicles and shootings from past June to date, to more than 453 attacks.

While the number of those who killed and died in the same period has risen to 294 persons, 67 of whom are civilians, including seven women and four children, in addition to 157 regime soldiers, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services.

46 members of opposition factions were also killed, those who made “settlements and reconciliations” with the regime and became members of regime security services, including former leaders, and 17 members of Syrian militias affiliated to Lebanese “Hezbollah” and Iranian forces, in addition to six members of so-called “Fifth Corps” established by Russia
