Security chaos in Idlib | Commander of Caucasian jihadists assassinated nearby Al-Fu’ah

Syrian Observatory activists have documented a new assassination in areas under the control of opposition factions and Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham in Idlib province as security chaos is escalating there.

 

According to SOHR sources, unknown gunmen shot dead the commander of the Caucasian fighters nearby Al-Fu’ah in the north-eastern countryside of Idlib.

 

On Wednesday, SOHR sources said that the headquarters of “Al-Sham Corps”, which is closes to Turkey, in Al-Sawaghiyyah area nearby Kafriya and Al-Fu’ah came under attack. Unknown assailants initiated their attack on “Al-Sham Corps” headquarters with RPGs, then the attackers and the faction’s members stationed in the headquarters traded fire. No casualties were reported.
