U.S. airdrop | Two ISIS commanders killed in new security campaign east of Deir Ezzor
Reliable sources have informed the Syrian Observatory that US-led International Coalition forces carried out an airdrop in a neighbourhood in Al-Bosayrah city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
The raiding forces asked the neighbourhood’s residents, via loudspeakers, not to get out of their houses, and the wanted individuals to turn themselves in.
U.S. forces, escorted with SDF anti-terrorist forces, targeted two houses inhabited by families from Al-Bokamal.
In the first house, U.S. troops arrested the women and children after bringing them out, while two men refused to hand themselves over. The raid evolved to intensive exchange of fire for awhile, during which one of the men was killed inside the house. The raiding forces blew the house up, devastating the building and killing the second man. The two fatalities are ISIS commanders.
U.S. forces raided later the second house inspecting it carefully, as the suspects were living in it before moving to the first house. This house is inhabited now by an old man and his family whom have been driven out safely and the house has been booby trapped and detonated by the U.S. forces.
Meanwhile, U.S. forces arrested another young man who was watching the operation from his house. After the campaign, three helicopters landed to take the forces participated in the operation, while another helicopter was flying over the area along with other reconnaissance drones.
