ISIS resurgence | Members cut off Damascus-Deir ez-Zor road executing four people, including high-ranking regime officer and woman

Reliable sources have informed the Syrian Observatory that Islamic State members cut off Damascus-Deir ez-Zor road at Kabajib area, seizing a vehicle carrying regime officer as well as other soldiers and a woman. All of them were executed by the group’s members.

In the meantime, regime forces have brought in military reinforcement to the area, while clashes continue there.

The Islamic State had executed a number of people, saying they were “spies for the Syrian regime” near Al-Sukhna area in the far countryside of Homs, in a new video released by the group. The video showed the execution of four people, in which the group used its usual methods of executions, slaughtering or shooting in the head.
