Military Police in Afrin arrest Turkish-backed fighters for “prostitution”

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: reliable sources have informed the Syrian Observatory that “Military Police” in the Turkish-controlled city of Afrin stormed a “brothel” in Al-Mahmoudiyah neighbourhood.

 

The house is owned by one of the Turkish-backed factions in the city. The police arrested a group of fighters for being involved in “prostitution”, in addition to arresting women working in the house.

 

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that a militiaman of the notorious “Sultan Murad” faction kidnapped a girl from Afrin city, after she had refused to marry him.

 

According to SOHR sources, the gunman raped the girl and forced her to marry him.
