Security chaos in Afrin | Clashes leave casualties in central city, and elderly Kurdish man found dead

Aleppo Governorate – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources have reported that a civilian was killed and four others injured, including children, in clashes between members of Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya and displaced people from rural Damascus countryside in central Afrin.

On the other hand, the body of an elderly man from the village of Kurran, in the district of Janderas, was found today drowned in the river, after being missing for six days.

SOHR activists have reported that unidentified gunmen assassinated an unidentified person this evening, on the Kafrghan-Kfarshoos road, east of the city of Azaz, which is under the control of Turkish-backed factions, north of Aleppo.

SOHR activists have monitored today a new assassination attempt in areas under the control of Turkish forces and their proxies in Aleppo countryside.

According to SOHR sources, unknown assailants opened fire on a member of the Turkish-backed military police in Al-Kandarliyyah village in Al-Bab city in north-eastern Aleppo. No casualties have been reported.
