Trading fire | Russian forces respond to fire shelling positions of Turkish-backed factions

The Syrian Observatory has monitored artillery shelling by Turkish-backed factions this evening, targeting the Russian base at the cow farm and the village of Dardara in countryside of Tal Tamer.

Meanwhile, Russian forces responded to fire from their base by shelling the positions of these factions. No casualties have been reported.

On the 16th of last month, the Syrian Observatory monitored the killing of two SDF members while carrying out a failed infiltration attempt at a Turkish post in Bab al-Faraj near the town of Abu Racine “Zarkan” in the countryside of Hasakeh. Turkish-backed factions kept their bodies.

In the meantime, Russian forces were able to mediate with the Turks and recover their bodies. The Syrian Observatory also had documented the deaths of seven fighters of Turkish-backed factions during the clashes.
