Murder in Deir ez-Zor | Locals find decapitated body of young man in countryside

Deir ez-Zor governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that locals found the decapitated body of a young man lying near the irrigation canal in the town of Al-Shuhayl in eastern countryside of Deir al-Zour.

The gunmen kidnapped him and killed his companion, who is a former SDF fighter, near Al-Busayrah city in Deir ez-Zor countryside, demanding his relatives the release of two thieves arrested by SDF yesterday in the village of Mashikh in the same countryside.

Meanwhile, SDF member was injured as an IED exploded in passing military vehicle in al-Alyat area in the town of Al-Soussa,

The number of fighters, civilians, oil workers and officials in service agencies who were assassinated in four provinces: Aleppo, Deir ez-Zor, Raqqa and Al-Hasakah, in addition to Manbij area in northeastern Aleppo province, which is controlled by SDF, increased to 506 persons.

The Syrian Observatory has documented the assassination of 171 civilians by armed cells, including 11 children and eight women in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, Al-Hasakah countryside, Raqqa city and countryside and Manbij, in addition to the assassination of 331 fighters of SDF, including local leaders in the same areas, while four members of the International Coalition were killed, dozens of wounded were also reported by SOHR as a result of those assassinations.
