Turkish-backed factions violations | Factions steal 300 sheep in rural Tal Tamer, returning nearly half of flock for large ransom
SOHR sources say that a group of fighters of Turkish-backed factions raided yesterday the village of Umal al-Khair in western rural Tal Tamer, which is under the control of regime forces, seizing 300 sheep, with the intimidation of citizens and shooting in the air.
The thieves then went to the village of Lilan, which is controlled by Turkish-backed factions, while the villagers followed them and demanded their sheep. Upon the insistence of the residents they returned 130 sheep, after the residents paid a ransom of five million Syrian pounds. While regime forces, which are controlling the village, stood idly by in the face of those factions’ attack.
On February 22, SOHR sources reported that Turkish-backed factions kidnapped five people including two women, while they were grazing their sheep in Om al-Kief in Tal Tamr countryside.
According to SOHR reliable sources, these factions stole about 150 sheep and released the three young men, but still holding the women.
