Rival factions | New armed fight erupts among Turkish-backed factions in north-eastern Aleppo

Syrian Observatory activists monitored a new armed fight in areas under the control of Turkish forces and their proxies. According to SOHR sources, clashes have erupted between two groups of the same clan, a group comprises fighters of “Mohamed Al-Fateh Brigade” and the other is of “Al-Hamzah Division”, in Al-Ammiyah village in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo.

 

Meanwhile, a group of Turkish-backed “military police” intervened to break up the quarrel. The reasons behind this fight have yet to be known.

 

On Wednesday, SOHR sources reported that fierce clashes erupted between “Ahrar Al-Sharqiyyah” on one hand, and “Al-Hamzat Division” backed by forces of the “military police” on the other, in Tal Halaf town in Ras Al-Ain countryside, north of Al-Hasakah.

 

According to SOHR sources, the clashes left two members of “Ahrar Al-Sharqiyyah” and one member of “Al-Hamzat” injured. The reasons behind this fight remained unknown.
