New prisoners swap | Regime forces and “Hurras al-Din” organization swap prisoners in north-eastern Idlib

Reliable sources have told SOHR that a new prisoners swap took place between “Hurras al-Din” organization and regime forces, in Taftnaz area in north-eastern Idlib.

According to SOHR sources, “Hurras al-Din” agreed to release three regime soldiers captured in earlier battles in Jabal Al-Turkman in northern Latakia, in return for the release of a jihadist’s wife, another woman and three children (sons of the two women).

On May 18, Reliable sources informed the Syrian Observatory that a prisoners swap took place between the “National Liberation Front” and regime forces in Taftenaz, north-east of Idlib.

According to SOHR sources, this operation came after an agreement between the two sides stipulates for releasing three members of NLF captured by regime forces in Al-Qarasi village in the western countryside of Aleppo in battles a few months ago.

While NLF released a regime soldier captured in the recent battles, a woman arrested earlier by opposition factions for “spying for regime forces and telling geographic coordinates of factions’ headquarters and positions”, and the bodies of two members of Syrian Hezbollah from Al-Zahraa town, which is inhabited by civilians of Shiite community.
